We’ve been busy here at TDI for the last month and we’ve been hard at work on producing some big content. Last month, we released our latest nSights Report titled, “Cybersecurity Alignment and the Board.” You can find the link to the report and the press release further down below. Here are the highlights of our regular blog content, but keep an eye out on our blog page, Twitter, and LinkedIn to see the latest from us.

This month we’ve focused primarily on supplementing our nSights report, but that’s not all we have for you. We published three blogs this month, focusing on cybersecurity alignment between the business and the board, the importance of securing the manufacturing supply chain, and a list of the top 5 hacks of the first quarter. More information can be found below, or by checking out each of those blogs individually.

[April 1st, 2022] Cybersecurity Alignment between the Business and the Board For years there has been an understandable tension between security leaders and corporate boards working towards an equilibrium. This tension exists because cybersecurity is a relatively new practice in business as compared to financial management, which has well-defined and established linkage to the overall health of the business. Effectively and efficiently being able to communicate how cybersecurity performance supports the business and translates to risk and the bottom line continues to elude many organizations. [April 13th, 2022] The Importance of Securing the Manufacturing Supply Chain In recent years, supply chain security has been an issue of preeminent importance. We’ve even talked about it previously, though we focused more on the security of software supply chains. With high-profile supply chain attacks hitting some of the biggest names in the industry, it’s proven to be such a hard challenge to tackle. Given the nature of supply chains and manufacturing in general, any disruption in manufacturing causes delays that ripple further and further up the chain. These delays, as we’ve seen in the last year with the semiconductor shortage, can have significant ramifications on seemingly disconnected industries that still rely on those products. Check out the blog here.

[April 27th, 2022] The Top 5 Hacks in Q1 of 2022 While we have yet to see a global security crisis similar to the 2020 SolarWinds hack or the recent Log4J vulnerability, recent months haven’t been quiet. Ransomware has continued to plague organizations of all sizes and of all levels of cybersecurity maturity, COVID phishing scams continue to run rampant, and we’re seeing unprecedented state-sponsored activity in Eastern Europe as the Ukraine-Russia conflict continues to rage. Today, we want to take a look at the top 5 hacks of the first quarter. See the full list here.
